A large number of new infrastructures such as "Eastern Data and Western Computing" are operating efficiently, providing guarantees for people's travel and online shopping, and making the night sky more gorgeous and wonderful.

During the Spring Festival, in the night sky of Huai'an, a small city in northern Jiangsu, performing drones intertwined and rose in the night sky like stars, transforming into brilliant scenes such as flying dragons, which amazed the audience.

The performance team told reporters that before, more than 800 drones were considered large-scale performances in the industry, but this year, the number of drones participating in the performance in Huai'an alone reached 2,000, and the shapes displayed in the air also changed from the previous 2D plane to 3D three-dimensional.

This year, the number of cities booking drone shows has exploded. This team alone has received more than 120 bookings, almost double the number of last year's Spring Festival. On the phone of project manager Teng Guoji, there are records of the dense itinerary and cities of all sizes.

Each drone must receive satellite positioning information accurate to nanoseconds, which requires powerful computing power.

This Spring Festival, the eight major hub nodes of "East Data West Computing" operated smoothly, and the total scale of data center racks exceeded 1.05 million standard racks, equivalent to supporting the operation of millions of servers at the same time.

A batch of newly built digital infrastructure was put into use for the first time. Among them, the data center serving the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has a computing power of 19.6 quadrillion times per second, which can support billions of people around the world to send New Year greeting messages at the same time using their mobile phones.

Digitalization has brought more convenience to the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon. During the peak period of the Spring Festival travel rush, the railway 12306 system received 1.25 million hits per second, and more than 1,500 tickets were sold in one second. The daily express delivery volume of more than 400 million pieces nationwide is the result of the integration of sensors and artificial intelligence technology, ensuring that every package is accurately delivered to its destination. The map navigation software calls up positioning information from Beidou satellites 3.47 million times per second on average, with the highest positioning accuracy reaching within 1 meter, accompanying every self-driving trip.
